<P><B>Description:</B><P>

<A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_a.htm#apply"><I>Applies</I></A> the <I>function</I> to the <I>args</I>. <P>
When the <I>function</I> receives its arguments via <TT>&amp;rest</TT>, it is permissible (but not required) for the <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_i.htm#implementation"><I>implementation</I></A> to <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_b.htm#bind"><I>bind</I></A> the <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_r.htm#rest_parameter"><I>rest parameter</I></A> to an <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_o.htm#object"><I>object</I></A> that shares structure with the last argument to <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="#apply"><B>apply</B></A>.
