Returns a non-negative <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_i.htm#integer"><I>integer</I></A> encoding the <I>character</I> object. The manner in which the <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_i.htm#integer"><I>integer</I></A> is computed is <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_i.htm#implementation-dependent"><I>implementation-dependent</I></A>. In contrast to <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="f_sxhash.htm#sxhash"><B>sxhash</B></A>, the result is not guaranteed to be independent of the particular <A REL=DEFINITION HREF="26_glo_l.htm#lisp_image"><I>Lisp image</I></A>. <P>
